Aadhira Mohi Issue 1 – synopsis

Aadhira Mohi Issue 1 (Bhaji of the Dead) is a zombie apocalyptic and survival story of 2 best friends. If you have not guessed from the book title, then let us tell you that Aadhira and Mohi are the names of two best friends who are also the leading characters of this comic series.

The story of the book starts from the scenes of an abandoned compound where a scientist is bashing one of his workers for his casual behaviors over handling a given task. A factory chemical which was given to him for disposal has leaked into the sewerage water due to his recklessness. The problem seemed bigger when the scientist found out that the water was being used for harvesting vegetables.

Doesn’t that already sound like a perfect start for a zombie outbreak? We have seen more than 2 dozen zombie apocalypse movies and it is difficult to put on a different story when there is already so much to relate.  Though the story is predictable but visual art and fresh ideas hyped our interest since the beginning.

Concept – 9

There would hardly be anyone who doesn’t know who the hell zombies are! Zombie outbreak is a well known concept and 2 friends fighting them for the survival doesn’t sound as exciting as this comic is. But trust us how they put altogether is a fun ride and you end up buying next issue definitely. Concept isn’t 10 but we it deserves 9.

The impact of the story is damn good. We loved everything in it; the story, dialogues, artwork and the characters of course.

Cover art for Aadhira Mohi 1 is good but it could have been better. Since we have started we have seen some great covers that made us feel that a perfect 10 score for cover should be hard earned.

Aadhira Mohi Bhaji of the Dead – Inside Art – 10

The inside book artwork is created and colored by Emilio Utrera. The inside artwork is refreshing and compliment the story very well. We loved it as the artists illustrated emotions, anger and scenes brilliantly.
