We came to know about Rama's ring when it won runner up position in best cover for an Indian comic in comic con India awards 2020. This book summarizes the great epic in a wonderful manner. The graphic novel covers the story from Sita's origins to the Ramayana battle and what happened after that. The story is told in a first-person narrative from Sita's point of view, which is refreshing. The narration and some dialogues are so good that you will enjoy reading it even we know what we are going to read in it. There are little details that are not like what we have read and seen before. Yet, the main essence of the story and scenes are intact. For example, Sita was in...

Ravanayan Synopsis Ravanayan is a graphic novel published by Holy Cow Entertainment in 2013. The graphic novel is a never seen before taking on Ravana’s life. The Ravanayan is a bold story that tries to explore good side of the Ravana and justify his action to become part of one of the greatest stories ever told. Ramayana is a holy book that teaches us many lessons through its characters and one of them is Ravana himself.  It would be oversimplification if we see this complex epic as just a fight between good and evil. Overall Rating Ravanayan – 9.2 Ravanayan...

Stunt by Indusverse – No Spoiler Review and Rating

Stunt is truly a masterpiece and that justifies its perfect score of 10. First, the outrage and now the stunt has summed up my hype for the next issues of the Indusverse. There is no weakness in the story. Even the experimentation of English and hinglish was used in good proportion here which finally pays off the unique idea behind it.

The Stunt is issue #3 by the Indusverse. If you are interested, you can read no spoiler review of the beginning and the outrage as well. Stunt is written by Alok Sharma who is also a founding partner and CCO of the Indusverse. Other Artists involved are: Art by Saumin Suresh PatelLettering is done by Mandaar GangeleColors by Rohan Baikar and Bajronarayan DuttaEditing by Nupur Sharma The stunt is an action-packed comic that revolves around a teenage boy Samir. Samir’s father was a stuntman who lost his life while performing a stunt during a film shoot. Samir was a kid then. He now works...

The outrage is issue #2 of Indusverse year zero. You can read a spoiler free review of the beginning which is issue #1 of the Indusverse year zero as well. The whole Indusverse year zero series concept is to introduce its first line of superheroes. Alike #the beginning, outrage is also an origin story of a superhero which is more interesting than the #thebeginning according to me. It kind of amazed us how #thebeginning won for the best writing not the #outrage. Let me remind you “the beginning” and “stunt”, both have won multiple awards in comic con India awards...
The Beginning by Indusverse – No Spoiler Review and Rating

The Beginning by Indusverse – No Spoiler Review and Rating

The beginning is an origin story of female protagonist Simone, who will turn in to first superhero of Indusverse. The beginning is a good concept which fall short in connecting with the readers. The experimentation with the writing style made it more complicated. We would love to read more from the Indusverse but we hope they can correct what they did wrong with the beginning as it can disappoint many readers.

The beginning is one of the three comics that were published by Indusverse in 2019. The other two are outrage and stunt. Indusverse is a new comic book publishing house, selling all 3 comic books under Rs 1500 in a slip case style cover and marketing these as the first binge read graphic novels of India. The beginning is an origin story of female protagonist Simone, who will turn in to first superhero of Indusverse. Bronze for The Beginning in 2020 Comic Con India Awards Before starting with the review, you must know that “the beginning” and “stunt”, both have...
