Rama’s ring is again a collection of stories unlike the title of the ACK which only promotes one of the 9 stories within it.
Caster is a universe of spirits, angels, demons, afterlife, mythical creatures and many more.
The village is a horror graphic novel with spectacular art and a kind of story that you might have never heard before. The village is based on the story written by world renowned Stephen King’s ‘one for the road’. Shamik Dasgupta has not just retold the story but has completely melded it into the Indian settings. The village is a must have Indian graphic novel.
Stunt is truly a masterpiece and that justifies its perfect score of 10. First, the outrage and now the stunt has summed up my hype for the next issues of the Indusverse. There is no weakness in the story. Even the experimentation of English and hinglish was used in good proportion here which finally pays off the unique idea behind it.
The beginning is an origin story of female protagonist Simone, who will turn in to first superhero of Indusverse. The beginning is a good concept which fall short in connecting with the readers. The experimentation with the writing style made it more complicated. We would love to read more from the Indusverse but we hope they can correct what they did wrong with the beginning as it can disappoint many readers.
First of all, “Chanakya of Serpents and Kings” got my attention because it won best graphic novel in Comic con India 2020. The book is a work of fiction which is actually based on the life of Chanakya and the historical events took place at that time.
